The
beginnings of the Tourist farm PRI MARKU go back into the year 1984, when a new house was built.
At that time we had a vision to offer accommodation in the new house for those guests that desire a holiday in a peaceful village in the countryside , which has always been a good feature of the village Crngrob.
In the upper floor of the then new house we equipped rooms intended for guests . We started with four rooms with the total of 10 beds and around 20 seats in the guest hall. Here often various celebrations, parties or even small weddings took place. Among our guests there were numerous foreigners, starting with Europeans (Germans, Austrians, Italians, etc.); however the voice about us went also beyond the borders of the old continent, so we also constantly came into contact with Americans, Australians, even with some Africans and Asians.
We were aware of the fact that the initial plan of starting the tourist activity was too small, so eventually a decision was made to build bigger facilities intended exclusively for the needs of tourism . We started building in 1998, so that at the beginning of June 2004 we could already offer accommodation to the first guests in our new building. Since then there has always been lively on our farm, since the capacities are more extensive than before, and consequently there are more guests. In this building we have already hosted many prominent people from Slovenia and Europe .
